  • Holding time is one day.  The momentum burst, on average plus moderately ITM options positions, plus only ~24 hour holding time mitigates premium decay on short term options.

Using very short term moderately ITM options focusing on a combination of Cheap + good deltas + risk management build into the position (although the other 1/2 of that will be based on your position size).  We don’t use stops.   Many times positions go one way then turn around and go in our favor.  When positions go in our favor deltas speed up fast which increases our profitability.  We hold for 1 day and get out before the close the next day. We get in before the close usually between 3:20 to 3:40, sometimes earlier and occasionally within the last 15 minutes.
