With Forex, Futures & Stops we can use buy stops, sell short stops and stop losses to enter.
With options you can use contingent orders that your options broker should have or they are pathetic. A contingent order is an order trigger based on the brokers computer. So you set it at our buy stop or sell stop to enter price for buying the given options position set to “at the market” settings which goes off when the price trigger is hit. (we will provide an options position but you can also pick whatever you want). If we run out of time to expiration because our position keeps becoming more and more profitable then we simply roll the position out to a further expiration – it’s that simple. Or you can use price alerts that you can set in Tradingview or your broker to then alert you by text or email to just login and exit at the market.
